Phuket Heritage ( Talang Road ) |

The old town phuket is located in Phuket town which is around 25-30 minutes from Patong beach and nearby coastline. The famous road to see the Sino-Portuguese Architecture and some the oldest houses in town ( over 100 years old ). is Talang road. Along both side of the Talang road, you will find old style coffee shops, local foods and deserts shops, painting shops, private and public gallery, old house museums and Chinese temples.

Khao Rang Hill and View Point |

Khao rang has the park on the top of the hill which located on the northwest of Phuket town. Visitors can see the top view of phuket town in panoramic view. On the top middle of Khao rang hill park has the famous governors statue during the King Rama V period. His name is Pharaya Phakdi, also known as Khaw Sim Bee. During this period, He saved the economy from the south part of Thailand by brought the rubber seeds from Indonesia and planted it in the Thailand. And then, he distributed the rubber seeds to farmers, By 1910, the rubber plantation business became popular and playing the major part of Phuket’ economy after tin mining. To honors what he has done for Phuket island, The Thai government built the only statue for Kha Sim Bee, the only Chinese businessman statue in Thailand.

Thalang National Nuseum is the only national museum in Phuket Island. It has been distributed during 1989 by H.R.H. Princess Sirinthin. The museum has preserved many cultural heritage and historical about Phuket island and Thailand during the Burmese war. |
Two Heroines Monument |

The two heroines’ monument has such a fascinating story behind. Starting during Burmese Invasion in late 1900’s. the two sisiters name , Thao Thep Kasatti and Thao Sri Soontorn. Both of them dressed as a soldiers and help the soldiers to defeat the Burmese in 1785 and eventually forced the Burmese army to depart. The story has been told from generation to generation to inspiring all women around the world and also people to love their hometown. |
Wat Chalong(Chalong Temple) |

Wat Chalong is the most famous thai temple in Phuket island. There are 29 Buddhist monasteries. With the old thai style of architecture which is hard to see in this modern day keep the temple is one of the most “ must see” in Phuket town.
The most well known monk statues are Luang Pho Chaen and Luang Pho Chung. Both of them have helped people from injured with herbal medicine for all their life. All locals go there to be blessed and bring some good luck charms back which believe to protect them from injury, illness and bad luck. |

The Big Buddha is on the top of Nakkerd Hills which is in between chalong and Kata. The Buddha itself is 48 meters high and decorated with outstanding white Burmese marble that reflecting with the sunlight. The big Buddha is easily seen from any viewpoint near by the area. On the top hill where the big Buddha is located, the visitors can see 360 degree view of Phuket island. |

The weekend market is where The best bargain happens” the weekend market or Tai road Market or Talad Nad Chaofa offer all reasonable and cheap clothes, stalls, foot wears, women’s jewelry, souvenirs, crafts, most of everything you would like to buy. There are hundred stalls located on weekend market. The acceptable bargain is about 10-25 % reduction.
Location : on the Main Chao Fa Nok Road , coming from central festival shopping centre, go down towards Wat chalong about 1.5 km. , and go straight down to T-junctions with a traffic lights and then take the left turn, the market is on the opposite side of Naka temple. |

Talad Nad Chaofa Variety market is located on a side road just off the main Chao Fa Nok road coming from Central Festival shopping center, down towards Wat Chalong and Chalong Circle (Hai Yak Chalong). If you are coming from the Central Festival direction, at the large junction in front of the shopping center, get yourself on the Chao Fa Nok road, going towards Wat Chalong, and it’s about 1.5 kilometers further, on the left-hand side. You’ll pass the Easy Fitness Center on your right, and a large school. Continue until you get to a T-junction with traffic lights, and take the left and the market is on the opposite side of Naka temple.
